Victim of South Bend hit-and-run identified

The victim of Sunday night’s hit-and-run on Adams Street and Humbolt Street has been identified.
The St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s Office identified 59-yer-old Tyree Washington of South Bend as the victim pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are still looking for the suspect vehicle.
Officials describe the vehicle as a white 4-door sedan with front end damage.
