VIP tickets for the South Bend Cubs' opening night are now available

SOUTH BEND, Ind. –  VIP packages are now on sale for the South Bend Cubs' opening night.

The Budwiser Opening Day VIP packages went on sale on Monday morning at 10 a.m. and include the following:

• A seat in the Budweiser Picnic Garden

• Two hour all-you-can-eat ballpark buffet (includes soda)

• Two drink vouchers (must be at least 21 years old)

• One South Bend Cubs '47 Brand hat

“I think part of the reason why these sell out so quickly is because of how special it is. You get a chance to be in the picnic garden, you get a chance to be among friends. It’s kind of something that taken on its own. Opening day, it’s always special to be out there,” said Chris Hagstrom-Jones, Director of Media and Promotions.

Only 200 of the VIP packages are now available for $35 and can only be purchased by calling (574) 235-9988 or visiting the South Bend Cubs Box Office.

Tickets for the season will go on sale on Wednesday, March 6 at 12 p.m.
