Wal-Mart nixing late-night greeters

There won't always be a greeter now to welcome customers to Wal-Mart, at least not for late-night shoppers.

The store has nixed greeters on the overnight shift. Those workers have been moved to other roles, like stocking shelves.

The company has been making the change for the past six months. The decision was made to save money and to have more staff in place at busier times.
