Wanatah man accused of breaking into home in Noble Township
LA PORTE COUNTY, Ind. - A Wanatah man was arrested for allegedly entering a home without permission in rural Noble Township, according to the La Porte County Sheriff's Office.
At 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, deputies were called out to the residence for a reported burglary in progress.
Deputies were told a man, identified by the homeowner as 62-year-old John Sullivan, was seen on video entering the homeowner's bedroom, reports said.
Video also captured Sullivan performing a sexual act, according to reports.
As law enforcement got to the home, they approached a gray Honda passenger vehicle that was pulling out of the driveway.
Officers from the Kingsford Heights Police Department initiated a traffic stop on the Honda and identified Sullivan as the driver.
Sullivan was taken to the La Porte County Jail on the charges of felony residential entry and misdemeanor malicious mischief.
He is being held on a $755 cash-only bond.
