It's warm and muggy out the door this morning.
Most should stay dry for the commute, however, the timing of scattered rain and storms today may be a bit earlier than anticipated.
A few of these could start late this morning, then continue into part of the afternoon. Part of Michiana is at a level one out of five risk for severe weather today.
It becomes breezy, with some wind gusts up to 20 mph. If you were hoping for one final warm beach day, there's a red flag as the wind will help waves build up to 5 feet by afternoon, so stay out of Lake Michigan.
As the front passes, we'll notice temperatures start to drop in the afternoon.
It'll feel like fall to end the week, with high temperatures cooled to the mid 60s Thursday and Friday. The forecast should stay dry both days. There is a big drop in humidity as well.
Friday morning temperatures will be in the lower 40s.
Temperatures rebound just a bit into the 70s this weekend. There is another chance for rain or storms later in the day Sunday.
