Warm and sunny weather awaits us today as highs are expected to reach into the upper 80s with dewpoints slowly building around the upper 50s. Lows likely won't go below 70 later tonight, an indicator of the warm air moving through our area into tomorrow. While the first half of Thursday will be quiet, hot, and humid, the second half will be littered with showers and thunderstorms as a cold front passes through. While not everyone will see thunderstorms, those who do can expect gusty winds and possibly small hail. A severe risk is present but has not increased since yesterday. No threats are of the table at this point both during Thursday afternoon and evening. A quieter pattern sets in Friday through the coming weekend with highs expected to soar to the low 90s on Father's Day.
Today: Partly cloudy. High 88.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy. Low 70.
Thursday: PM thunderstorms. High 91.
Friday: Sunny. High 81.
