Sunny today, but expect a wetter and warmer weekend
After a beautiful Sunday with mostly sunny skies, the clouds will stay away tonight as well. That will allow temperatures to once again fall into the 30s overnight across Michiana.
Monday morning and afternoon will be quiet, with increasing clouds throughout the day. Temperatures will make it into the lower 60s. Rain develops Monday night, and could be heavy at times with a few thunderstorms possible. Some spots could see rain amounts of more than an inch by early Tuesday. We should get a short break Tuesday afternoon before a few strong thunderstorms move in Tuesday night. I think the severe weather will stay to our south, but a few storms could have some small hail or gusty winds.
Wednesday will be dry, but Wednesday night a few showers can't be ruled out as a cold front comes through. While Thursday through Saturday will be dry, temperatures will be much cooler, with highs in the upper 40s and lows near the freezing mark expected.
Tonight: Mostly clear skies. Low 36.
Monday: Mostly cloudy. High 62. Rain overnight could be heavy at times.
Tuesday: Showers and thunderstorms, especially late. High 70.
Wednesday: Partly sunny. A few nighttime showers possible. High 64.
