Water main break in South Bend causes road closure

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The City of South Bend reported a water main break on Facebook Friday night.

Auten Road closed from Oakland Avenue to Laurel Road due to the main break around 7:30 p.m.

In the post, the City asks residents to turn their faucets off until the water is restored.

Once repairs are made, people should run their water for 10 minutes, or until it is clear.

The post said that the break should be fixed by late Friday night.
