Well, it’s official. South Bend recorded a trace of snow on May 10th, and I had sleet falling at my house in Argos on May 11th.
Just how abnormal is this, however? Since 1950, A trace of snow has fallen in South Bend 12 times when you include 2020, we’ve received a trace of snow as late as May 28 in South Bend.
We’ve had measurable snow 3 times. It’s been 15 years since our last trace of snow, and the last time measurable snow fell was 1976.
Bring on the weekend warm-up!
