Wednesday will be one of the hottest days, so far this year

Hot and humid weather lasts through Wednesday night, then a cold front breaks the heat. The heat index could be as high at 95 degrees. The storm threat Wednesday night is trending lower, a later arrival and less organization lessens the potencial for strong storms. The end of the week is milder, with highs in the 70s Thursday and Friday. The weekend is warm again, with highs in the 80s.
