ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast

Saturday, June 24th , 2023

Relief from the drought is on its way to Michiana later tonight as temperatures dip into the high 60s for our low for the last quiet day of the weekend. Showers will develop early Sunday morning before most of us wake up for the day, eventually developing into more steady rain alongside some scattered thunderstorms later Sunday morning. Although uncertainty still exists with the middle of the day in terms of rainfall, plan on scattered showers with an occasional thunderstorm and temperatures in the mid 80s. Thunderstorm activity ramps back up Sunday evening as a cold front pushes through our area. Although the most severe thunderstorms are expected to develop east of our region, strong to severe thunderstorms are possible later in the day with wind and hail as the primary threats. The line of storms associated with the front will move out late Sunday night as temperatures drop into the high 50s. Monday will feature the remnants of the rain in the form of light showers throughout the day and temperatures struggling to make it past the low 70s. Showers last through Tuesday morning, continuing to cool down Michiana into the high 60s for Tuesday's high.

Tonight: Showers late. Low 68.

Sunday: Scattered thunderstorms. High 85.

Monday: Showers. High 73.

Tuesday: AM showers. High 69.
