Drier but cooler weather returns for Wednesday
ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- The South Bend Record Show is ready to bring back a wide range of music selections to Michiana on Sunday, August 2, 2020.
The South Bend Record Show will have nearly 70 tables with over 30,000 pieces of merchandise of vinyl’s, CDs, or 45s. The show will also have vintage stereo gear, cassettes, and cassette players.
South Bend Record Show owner Jeremy Bonfiglio said the one-day record store will be different from previous shows. People will be required to wear face masks, there will be a hand sanitizer station at the front of the room and people are encouraged to bring gloves.
Previously, the venue was held at the Comfort Suites, this year they’ve moved locations because of the show's growth. Bonfiglio said the new venue; Ramada by Wyndham is bigger and allows for social distancing.
“The room is very large, much larger than our older venue. It’s 9,000 sq foot room,” Bonfiglio said. “We are able to space ourselves out a little a bit to allow for social distancing and also to allow just to have the space for people to feel comfortable,”
The record show starts at 11 a.m. on Sunday, August 2. The next record show will be in October and December. More information can be found on their website.
