Early Sunday morning around 4:30 a.m., South Bend Police were called to the area of Milton and St. Joseph Streets on the report of multiple shots fired.
As officers were investigating, they were advised of a possible walk-in shooting victim at Memorial Hospital.
He ultimately died from his injuries at the hospital.
His name has not yet been released.
The South Bend Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit is handling this investigation.
