SOUTH BEND, Ind. - One man is dead following a shooting near the intersection of St. Joseph Street and Milton Street this morning.
The incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. this morning.
The victim drove himself to Memorial Hospital, where he was treated by medical professionals. He ultimately passed away from the injuries.
His identity has not yet been released.
Both roads were shut down as police were conducting an investigation into the shooting.
The South Bend Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit is currently handling the investigation.
