White House press secretary speaks to ABC57

ABC57's Brian Dorman spoke with White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest Thursday concerning President Barack Obama's visit to Elkhart on June 1.

The president will go to Concord High School and the Lerner Theatre.

We asked about Mayor Tim Neese downplaying the president's role in the economic recovery of Elkhart.

"The President's strategy of investing in our economy and trying to grow our economy from the middle out has paid off. That strategy worked and Elkhart is a good illustration of that," said Earnest.
