Whole Foods opens in Mishawaka

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- Fans of farm fresh foods and healthy organic options waited in long lines Wednesday to shop the new Whole Foods store.

The Mishawaka store on Grape Road opened at 8 Wednesday morning and was quickly packed with customers eager to fill their carts.

"When someone walks into a Whole Foods market, we hope that it’s a different experience than when you walk into a typical grocery store," said Mariah Fairweather of Whole Foods. "Our employees know their stuff. They know exactly where their produce is coming from."

The store is open every day until 10 p.m.
