Winamac Community High School announces commencement plans

WINAMAC, Ind. -- Eastern Pulaski Community School Corporation announced its commencement plans for the class of 2020 at Winamac Community High School.

This year's graduation will be held on Friday, July 10 at 7 p.m.

According to the school's facebook page, commencement will take place on the football field to allow for social distancing. The ceremony will take place in front of the home bleachers and guests will be seated and spaced out in accordance with social distancing guidelines. They will only be allowing four guests per graduate. The commencement will also be streamed live for those not in attendance.

If weather becomes an issue, they plan on postponing the ceremony for Saturday, July 11 at 10 .m.

School officials say after commencement, graduates are encouraged to participate in a short parade through town.
