ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast
Sunday, November 30, 2025
Saturday's round of snow definitely delivered all across Michiana, with widespread reports of 6-10" of snow. Isolated snow totals close to a foot have also been reported, mainly in Berrien and Cass counties in Michigan.
Early Sunday morning, temperatures have actually risen above freezing for some of the area. This is helping with road conditions somewhat, but there are still A LOT of troublesome spots out there. Many side streets are a complete mess and travel will still be difficult for at least the first half of Sunday. It will also be windy today, especially this morning, with gusts of 35 mph possible.
There will be some additional snow showers at times Sunday morning, but lake effect snow doesn't really "turn on" until mid-afternoon Sunday. Temperatures will fall below freezing tonight, meaning areas of black ice and slippery roadways are likely even if additional snowfall doesn't find where you live. That being said, one to three inches of additional snowfall is possible tonight into early Monday morning for most of the area. The lake effect snow belts in southwest Michigan and far northern Indiana could pick up more than three to six inches of snow.
Snow will briefly halt Monday morning, but another round of snow could clip Michiana from Monday evening through Tuesday morning. Additional accumulations of an inch or two are possible here as well.
Tuesday will be quiet (phew!) before some more minor snow showers try to return on Wednesday. Stay safe, Michiana!
Today (Sunday): Windy in the morning with lake effect snow by the afternoon. High 34.
Tonight: Cloudy with snow showers. Low 21. 1-3" of snow expected, higher amounts likely in the snow belts.
Monday: Snow showers in the evening. Minor accumulations possible. High 28.
Tuesday: Snow takes a breather. The sun (!!) will peek out. Cold. High 28.
