Winners of ‘I Love South Bend’ photo contest announced

The winners of the I love South Bend photo contest were announced Thursday at a press conference at Seitz Park.

Aaron Allen won the grand prize of $1,500 for his photo of the South Bend River Lighting ceremony.

Adam DeBeck won $500 for second place for his photo of Dog Days at Four Winds Field

Alyssa Neece won third place for her photo of the East Race.

Seven $150 Honorable Mention prizes were awarded.

There were 116 photos entered in the contest sponsored by 1st Source Bank and South Bend 150.

The photos were selected by a panel of representatives from 1st Source Bank and SB150 for their depiction of the city’s people, attractions, outdoor activities, architecture and landscapes.
