Winter weather affects some Michigan roads

Winter's bite continues to affect parts of Michigan and it could impact drivers.

There are a lot of snowy, icy spots. Edwardsburg probably has the clearest roads. There are still a few slick spots, especially in back areas near the high school, to watch out for. 

Niles and Buchanan are probably in the worst condition. In Buchanan there is some black ice. And in Niles, lots of snow that's mixed with ice on the ground. It makes braking difficult.

If you are going through US-12, be extra careful. Some spots are great. Others are pretty bad with snow clumped up on the ground.
