Witness rescues mother and daughter

A car driving on Douglas Rd. hit a pole and flipped over just before 8 a.m. Wednesday morning.
A man, who was driving right behind the vehicle, rescued the mother and daughter from the car before police and rescue crews arrived at the scene.
The mother and daughter, the only passengers of the vehicle, suffered minor injuries and were not taken to the hospital.
The power went out on Douglas Rd. near the intersections of Fir Rd. and Capital Ave.
