Woman accused of pouring boiling water on boyfriend to be sentenced

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A South Bend woman accused of pouring boiling water on her sleeping boyfriend is expected to learn her fate.
Police say 41-year-old Tearsa Broadnax confessed to the assault on her boyfriend Ricky Clark.
His burns were so severe, medics rushed him to the Fort Wayne burn unit. Her sentencing is set for 8 a.m.
