CASS COUNTY, Mich. -- The Cass County Sheriff's Office reports its Drug Enforcement Team the Michigan Department of Corrections responded to a responded to a residence in the 70000 black of Elkhart Road in Ontwa Township around 10 a.m. Friday.

While searching the home, detectives say they located methamphetamine.

A 37-year-old woman was then arrested for Possession Methamphetamine, as a result of the joint investigation.

The suspect's name is withheld pending arraignment on the charges in the 4th district court.

The investigation is ongoing.
