Woman goes on patriotic singing mission

DETROIT, Mich. --- A New York woman is on a patriotic mission to sing the Star Spangled Banner in all 50 states.
Janine Stang has been singing in up to six states per month.
Her stop Friday night in Louisville was her 47th stop.
She says she's doing it to raise awareness for American troops stationed overseas.
"So it's been an American effort, a lot of people have come together to help me out, I'm grateful to be able to do this," said Stang .
Saturday she sang in Detroit and says she's off to Hawaii next.
Her plan is to end her mission in Baltimore, Maryland where the song was originally composed.
