Woman struck, killed by South Shore train

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. - A woman was killed after being struck by a South Shore train at the St. Joseph and LaPorte County line, St. Joseph County Dispatch confirmed.
The Eastbound Tr 9 is stopped just west of Michigan City due to the incident, which happened around 1:12 p.m. Monday near Hudson Lake.
This is an ongoing investigation.
