Woman who provided weapon in double murder sentenced

The woman who provided the weapon a felon used in the double murder of his brother and sister in law was sentenced in court on Friday.

Jenifer Leveque was sentenced to four years for assisting a criminal and eight years for transferring a gun.

Both sentences are to be served consecutively.

She will receive credit for 850 days.

In June 2012, Steven Clippinger killed Matt and Lisa Clippinger at their Mishawaka home, while their children were present.

Steven was found guilty on October 1 of two counts of murder and one count of felon in possession of a gun.

Steven will be sentenced October 14.
