Women's Basketball Preview: Montana vs Notre Dame

It's the Notre Dame women's team's turn to get in on the madness. The Notre Dame Women's basketball team will face Montana in the first round of the NCAA tournament.

But the Irish will have to make sure not to take the Montana Grizzlies lightly. You may not hear of them a lot but right now, they are the first of many teams in their way to a historic fifth straight final four.

Coach Muffett McGraw's crew is making the one seed a tournament tradition for them. Many believe they're a lock to beat Montana. One reason is their explosive offense, averaging the 4th most points in the entire country.

The Big Sky champion Lady Grizzlies will have a lot to prove. The last time this team won a tournament game was about 20 years ago, way back in 1995. 

This is a team that bears down on defense, allowing less than 57 points a game. 

Stopping the Irish offense could be one of the greatest tests for this 16 seed.
