Workshop times announced for South Bend neighborhood planning
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The City of South Bend has announced the times and locations for the neighborhood workshop events that residents can attend to construct plans for the Kennedy Park and Rum Village Neighborhoods.
The visioning workshops will allow residents to provide ideas and direction for these two neighborhoods concerning housing, infrastructure, land use, amenities, and other key topics.
Priority workshops will then give residents the opportunity to weigh in on the order in which each project should be completed.
“I encourage neighbors to get involved during this planning process. Resident feedback is vital to the development of strong neighborhood plans that chart the right direction for our community to move forward together,” said South Bend Mayor James Mueller.
Each workshop will have a zoom link available for anyone wanting or needing to join virtually.
