Zachary Sanders sentenced to 20 years for death of 16-year-old

20-year-old Zachary Sanders was sentenced to 20 years in the Indiana Department of Corrections in connection with the February 2016 death of Troy Mapes.
Sanders appeared before a Judge Monday and was sentenced for Voluntary Manslaughter, a Level 2 Felony.
Sanders was found guilty by a jury of Voluntary Manslaughter on September 22nd.
Sanders was charged after he struck and ran over Troy Mapes in his vehicle after Sanders was robbed during a drug transaction; Mapes subsequently died from his injuries.
