LaPorte pastor charged with sexual battery

A LaPorte pastor has been charged with sexual battery77-year-old Curtis Southwood was charged with the level-6 felony during his arraignment on May 13.
Documents obtained by ABC57 News state Southwood allegedly molested a mentally disabled person.
Southwood is the pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in LaPorte.
He has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Southwood said he was advised by his attorney not to speak with media when we reached him for a statement.
Southwood will be in court on July 22.
