Free weekly cooking classes offered to residents of Portage Township
MGN SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Join NOURISH, a weekly, free cooking class that teaches the skills needed to excel in the kitchen while learning how to stretch your dollar.
The class is every Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at a community partnership location. Attendees can learn from local chefs how to cook a balanced, budgeted meal, and signing up online also makes you eligible to receive class-specific ingredients to make the dish at home. (Supplies are limited to one per household.) You can also ask questions, connect with neighbors, and play fun trivia.
Attendees will also have the chance to participate in a weekly raffle for cooking utensils, from crockpots to silverware.
