12-Year-old stabbing suspect physically abused

KENTWOOD, Mich. -- New  court documents claim the 12-year old boy that allegedly stabbed a 9-year old boy to death on a playgro

Records show Jamarion Lawhorn's mother lost custody of two children years ago due to alleged physical abuse.

 

Records also show that Child Protective Services found substantiated evidence of abuse by the boy's mother and stepfather just last year.

 

The couple also allegedly failed to take the boy for treatment of his numerous behavioral issues.
