SAWYER, Mich. -- The Berrien County Democratic Party held their 4th annual True Gala in Sawyer Friday night with Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson. The chair of the organization says its more than a gala, its also a call to action. The gala brought together like minded members of the community and awarding locals for their efforts in impact and volunteering.
Ken Peterson was named as the democratic parties volunteer of the year and Ethel Clark- Griffin was awarded the community impact award.
