ELKHART, Ind. -- Elkhart Police Department responded to a call of a man who died in his parked vehicle.

The call in at about 1:15 p.m. once officers arrived on scene, they found a 60-year-old man inside the vehicle already deceased.

Initial investigation indicates that the business called the transportation company that owned the vehicle because it had been parked in the parking lot for over a week.

The Elkhart Homicide Unit was told about the situation but according to EPD there is no indication of foul play.

The Elkhart County Coroner’s Office will be handling the death investigation.
