60-year-old man shot while watching TV at Benton Harbor home


BENTON HARBOR, Mich.—A 60-year-old man was shot while watching TV in his Benton Harbor home on April 12.

Around 12:10 a.m. on April 12, the Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety responded to a shooting in the 300 block of Colby Avenue.

Police say several rounds were fired towards the residence and struck multiple locations.

A 60-year-old man was shot inside of the home while sitting on the couch watching TV.

The victim was taken to Lakeland Hospital for treatment and is in stable condition.

According to police, the shooting may be gang related but it is still under investigation.
