83-Year-old woman dies in Van Buren County car accident

VAN BUREN COUNTY, Mich. — Five different emergency response crews were on the scene of a deadly car accident Friday night. Betty Horton, 83, of Bangor, Mich. died in that accident.
Horton crossed into oncoming traffic on M-43 and side-swiped another vehicle.
After that collision, she ran into another eastbound vehicle head on. She died at the scene.
The others injured in the accident are expected to be okay.
The case remains under investigation.
