911 services appear to be back up in Cass County

CASS COUNTY -- 911 services appear to be back working Friday morning in Cass County.  Earlier, service was down for dozens of counties in Michigan.

The outage was due to a technical issue, while updating the 911 system.

Cass County was affected, but Berrien and Saint Joseph counties weren't.

Cass County officials say, it appears everything is working normally, but they're still waiting on the official "all clear."

If you have an emergency in Cass County, try calling 911.  If you can't get through, call the county's non-emergency number: (269) 445-1560.  You can also text 911.
