ELKHART, Ind. -- The Elkhart Police Department is continuing to actively investigate a non-fatal shooting on Tamarack Drive on Monday evening, which left one man in the hospital.
No arrests have been made as of Tuesday in the investigation into a non-fatal shooting at a residence in the 3000 block of Tamarack Drive which was reported around 8:32 p.m. Monday.
Elkhart Police Department officers responded to the home after fire department medics requested police assistance with a 20-year-old man with an apparent gunshot wound.
The man was taken to the hospital for evaluation and treatment, and he later reported he was shot outside the house.
No arrests have been made in the investigation, which remains active and ongoing at this time.
