TALIA’S TAKE: Social media reacts to Notre Dame’s three-game win streak
NEXT:

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- After three straight wins, Notre Dame fans have started to relax a bit — but there’s still one topic lighting up social media: penalties.

Notre Dame’s 28–7 win over Boise State came with the most penalties in a game under Marcus Freeman — 24 total flags for 224 yards between both teams, including 11 for the Irish alone.

That’s a big jump for a squad that had been among the nation’s least penalized, averaging just 29.5 yards per game before Saturday.

An interception was even overturned on a questionable roughing-the-passer call, which had both Marcus Freeman and Irish fans heated online. Still, a win’s a win — and the team now rides a three-game streak with momentum heading into Week 7.

The improvement from Chris Ash’s defense hasn’t gone unnoticed either. Fans are giving credit where it’s due after holding Boise to just one score.

And on offense, the Irish faithful can’t stop talking about the running back duo of Jeremiyah Love and Jadarian Price. The two have become one of the most electric backfields in the country.

Love says he’s fine with any nickname — but Talia’s Take? “Price of Love” just fits.
Looking ahead, Notre Dame faces a dangerous N.C. State team led by running back Hollywood Smothers, who ranks second in the nation in total rushing yards.

Marcus Freeman says the defense will have to focus on gang tackling and discipline to slow him down.

Talia’s Take: This matchup will be a major test for the defense — N.C. State is physical, efficient, and balanced. The Irish will need to tighten up those gaps and limit mistakes if they want to keep that winning streak alive.
