A major change this weekend, the warm dry pattern comes to an end. Most the day Saturday is dry, but after 4:00 PM the showers increase in coverage and intensity. A thunderstorm is also possible; this could lead to lightning delays for the Notre Dame / USC game. The heaviest rain could hold off until after midnight, but total rainfall through Sunday is now ranging up to two inches. This would put a significant dent in the are-wide drought. Sunday is cool, wet and breezy with gusts up to 30 mph. Next week is mostly dry and cooler, with highs in the 50s.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy. Low 60.
Saturday: PM Showers. High 76.
Sunday: Cool, wet and breezy. High 59.
Monday: Sunny. High 64.
