SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- South Bend Young Professionals Network (YPN) held its 20th anniversary celebration Thurs. night, bringing together current and future leaders in the community.
The room filled with feathers and fedoras to match the ‘Roaring '20s’ theme as people connected over rounds of blackjack with play money and live jazz from Merrimans’ Playhouse, among other vintage-inspired activities.
“I feel that community is everything, whether it’s professionally, socially… just finding what you enjoy and clicking with the people around you, that’s really the best way to come out of your shell post grad… in the year since I’ve been involved with the network, it’s really opened me up socially and it’s really grown my confidence,” said Jacee Wesolowski, a YPN lead and the Experience & Communications Manager for the South Bend Regional Chamber of Commerce.
