A sneak peak of ABC57's Kickoff show ahead of Purdue
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The number 24 fighting Irish will be hosting Purdue on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
The last meeting was a statement game for Notre Dame, rolling to their largest ever win over Purdue 66 to 7.
The Irish also carry a seven-game winning streak against the Boilermakers into this one but this year, the situation is different.
With a current record of 0 and 2, Notre Dame would need ten straight wins to keep playoff hopes alive.
One bright spot-on offense has been wide receiver Malachi Fields. Fields hauled in over 125 yards against Texas A&M last weekend.
Freeman said you can expect to see a lot more from Fields this season.
The question this Saturday, can the Irish finally balance out both the offense and defense?
Join ABC57 Kickoff crew from 10 a.m. to noon for exclusive interviews, insight, and a full breakdown before Notre Dame takes the field.
