CROWN POINT, Ind – An AMBER alert for 16-year-old Madison Elizabeth Yancy Eddlemon, who went missing on Saturday, has been canceled.
Indiana State Police issued the alert after it was originally reported that she went missing around 9:00 a.m. on Saturday wearing a black hoodie, white jeans with tears, shin high boots and a black lace choker.
22-year-old Alexander Martin Curry-Fishtorn was named by Lake County Sheriff's Office as a suspect in Eddlemon's disappearance.
Curry-Fishtorn is described as a white male, five feet seven inches tall weighing 158 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
Eddlemon's family had a protective order against Curry-Fishtorn.
Eddlemon's parents say that Curry-Fishtorn is violent and had abused their daughter physically.
FBI agents in Indianapolis confirmed that the suspect is in custody.
