A weak ridge will temporarily support high pressure at the surface to start this week, keeping temperatures near normal in the low 70s with partly to mostly cloudy skies today and the first half of tomorrow. Overnight lows will drop to near 50 degrees tonight in between today and Tuesday. The quiet weather persists until Tuesday afternoon when scattered showers arrive from the southwest and stick with our area through Wednesday. The middle of the week won't be a washout, but expect generally soggy conditions and a slight cooldown into the upper 60s for regional high temperatures.
