ELKHART, Ind. --- An website that's become a liason between volunteers and non-profits is looking to add more to its ranks.
According to its website, Acts of Service, a web-based platform, makes it easier for companies, their employees and individual community members to give back by connecting with local nonprofits.
The group is inviting local non-profit leaders to a private meeting at B on the River to talk about how Acts of Service can further serve them.
Launa Leftwich, with the Boys and Girls Club, said she continually update their needs on the site, providing opportunities for volunteers to find a cause they’re passionate about and a time that works with their schedule.
Acts of Service Director Michilah Grimes said the site is expanding, but needs more non-profits and volunteers as they continue to grow.
The site and service is free for all. Click here to register with the following three steps:
1. Go to www.ActsofService.com
2. Create a Profile
3. Click on the Opportunity and Make A Difference
