ELKHART, Ind. -- After a weather delay impacted original plans, the city of Elkhart is preparing for its big annual fireworks show.

The city announced that it will hold an America 250 fireworks show celebration this coming Saturday, July 14 in and around Central Green Park downtown. This comes after weather forced the city to push back its show planned for July 4.

Live entertainment will begin at 3:30 p.m. The fireworks show is scheduled for 10 p.m. There will be food trucks on site. Admission is free; attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for sitting.
