Michiana is snow covered this morning, and roads are slow going. The heaviest snow is early this morning, and gradually becoming lighter through the late morning and afternoon. We won't see much more of an accumulation this afternoon. Snow gradually tapers off overnight.
Temperatures are in the upper 20s to start the morning, with a high around 33 this afternoon. It is still windy - some snow is being blown around as it falls. We have heavy, wet snow. This is good for building a snowman, but make sure you don't overexert yourself when you shovel.
Monday morning the roads could still be a bit snowy, so you may need to extend your commute time. Otherwise, the week starts quiet Monday through Wednesday. Thursday another system will pass, but with temperatures in the upper 30s, it will be a mix of rain and snow before turning to all snow Friday morning.
Today: Heavy snow early. Snow showers through the afternoon. High 33.
Tonight: Few snow showers overnight. Low 22.
Monday: Snow ending before sunrise. Mostly cloudy. High 30.
Tuesday: Mostly sunny. High 32.
