Ameriwood Industries in Dowagiac erupts in fire

CASS COUNTY, Mich.—Officials worked to put out a fire at Ameriwood Industries, a furniture manufacturer, in Dowagiac on Sunday.
Multiple viewers told ABC57 that the fire and smoke could be seen for up to a mile radius, one saying they witnessed the fire as early as 5:30 p.m.
Crews were on scene for up to five hours.
Authorities have yet to release a cause for the fire.
