Ball State providing incentives for vaccinated students

MUNCIE, Ind. – Ball State University is encouraging students to get the COVID-19 vaccine by providing incentives for those who get the shot.

Students are asked to complete a form to verify they are vaccinated in order to be eligible for the weekly raffles.

Each Wednesday, beginning July 14 and running through September 8, 2021, eight eligible vaccinated students per week will be randomly selected to receive the following:

  • $100 bookstore voucher (two winners)
  • $100 Tech Store voucher (two winners)
  • Commuter, Residence Hall, or Stadium Parking Permit (two winners)
  • $100 in dining cash (two winners)

Four more one-time incentives will be offered in the raffle on Wednesday, July 28 in addition to those listed above:

  • Two tickets to join President Mearns in the suite for a Ball State football game (one winner)
  • Two VIP seats for a Ball State Athletics sport of your choice for the entire season (one winner)
  • Two Functional Fitness class vouchers (one winner)
  • Two Rec Fit class vouchers (one winner)

Three more one-time incentives will be offered in the raffle on Wednesday, August 18 in addition to the weekly incentives:

  • Two tickets for Student Concert of choice and two t-shirts (one winner)
  • Two tickets to The Price Is Right at Emens Auditorium (one winner)
  • Two tickets to Crowder at Emens Auditorium (one winner)

Eight more one-time incentives will be offered in the raffle on Wednesday, September 8 in addition to the weekly incentives:

  • $500 Tech Store Vouchers (five winners)
  • Name a tree on campus (plaque on a tree named in honor of a student – one winner)
  • Residence Hall Double Room (air-conditioned, semi-private bathroom – one winner)
  • 21 meals per week Dining Plan or Any 10 meals per week plan $100 Dining Plus for the year (one winner)
