Banko Investments buys State Theater

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The State Theater in downtown South Bend has a new owner.
Banko Investments bought the theater, that’s according to the downtown South Bend Facebook page.
No word yet on what the company plans to do with the building.
Right now, the space is being used by Chicago are students for and advanced restoration class.
The State Theater opened in 1921 as Vaudeville House.
